Primary Responsibilities of an Ultrasound Technologist

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations ensuring precision and adherence to established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Document and report findings accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
• Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications for a Successful Ultrasound Technologist

• Associate's degree in Ultrasound Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. AHA ACLS or AHA BLS
• 2+ years of experience in performing ultrasound examinations in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Work Schedule:
● Nights, 12-Hour Shifts, 0.75 FTE: 60 Hours Per Pay Period
