We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse
- Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry readings and respond to any irregularities or emergencies.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-operative patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, documenting all interventions accurately.
- Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care, addressing any concerns or questions.
Schedule and Shift Details
This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts, offering flexibility and work-life balance. Nights and Weekends.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in telemetry or a surgical unit preferred.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- Strong assessment skills with attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and medical staff.
